Assisting Certifications
Every student who completes the 10-week program at Assist To Succeed earns four certifications: CPR, HIPAA, OSHA, and an 80-hour clinical externship. The first three are included in the coursework and completed before the externship begins. The externship runs separately at one of Dr. Soard's practices.
The CPR, HIPAA, and OSHA certifications are also available as standalone courses for dental professionals who need to renew or are completing training outside the full program.

HIPAA Certification
6 hours
Certification valid 2 yearsA 6-hour HIPAA certification course for dental health care providers. Covers the Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules with dental office-specific scenarios. Valid for 2 years.

Certification valid 2 yearsAn 8-hour OSHA safety certification course for dental health care providers. Covers infection control, bloodborne pathogens, chemical safety, and emergency preparedness. Valid for 2 years.

An 80-hour externship at one of Dr. Soard's dental practices in the Las Vegas valley. Students work alongside the dental team, assist in procedures, and graduate with documented clinical hours.

The CPR, HIPAA, and OSHA courses run as part of the 10-week curriculum. You don't need to schedule them separately or pay extra. By the time you complete the classroom portion, you hold three active certifications.
The externship follows immediately after. You'll be placed at one of Dr. Soard's Las Vegas practices or at a partner office across the valley for 80 hours of hands-on clinical work alongside a working dental team.

If you're already working in a dental office and need to renew or earn a single certification, CPR, HIPAA, and OSHA are each available as standalone courses. Reach out to ask about current availability and scheduling.
HIPAA and OSHA certifications are valid for two years. CPR is also valid for two years. Each course includes a written exam and hands-on evaluation.
